Ashley and I have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Nigeria with The Crazy Texas Team to Jos, Nigeria.
Time will be spent with children, men and woman to provide resources, love, business and entrepreneur classes, soccer camps, life skills, build and repair facilities, prison ministry, widows ministry and medical outreaches.
The funds will be used more than likely to fund many things from sewing supplies, rice, and the like. BUT, more importantly the team has partnered up with a company that has developed a filter that attaches to a 5 gallon bucket that can provide life saving clean water to families.
Incredibly, they've developed a filter that can clean up to 1 MILLION gallons of water! Originally designed for kidney dialysis machines; it delivers tiny micron filtration to ensure that no harmful bacteria, protozoa, E. Coli, Giardia, Cholera, Typhoid, etc get through. Anyhow, the filters are amazingly cheap for us, $30, and can provide clean, safe drinking water for 20+ years if it cleaned properly.
