The Christmas Project

Play Light Love (www.playlightlove.com) has partnered with the S.H.A.R.E. organization in Bahamas to bring light to children of the Save the Children Ministry (Bahamas Great Commission). We have been helping educate and feed children since 2015, but in 2016 we completed our first major project, completing a transformation of a 5000sqft dump into a safe, fun, clean area for kid's to play and eat. As well as building this area we put together two new showers so the children and homeless could clean up before being re-clothed.

Right now we are fund-raising to give these children a magical and memorable Christmas this year.

The Christmas Project - Bahamas Dec 2016

​This year we are bringing Christmas to over 100 children from the Great Commission Ministries in Bahamas. Many of these children were badly affected by the high wind storms in October 2016, and weeks after they are still left without power, unable to return to their shelters/homes that were left without roofs or bad structural damage.

UPDATE - VENUE CHANGE:
We are now busing all the children along and hosting a fun filled christmas party for over a 100 kids at the amazing Ardastra Zoo In Bahamas http://www.ardastra.com/
 surrounded by Parrots and Birds, Pigs, Lemurs, Rabbits, Tortoise, Snakes, and Iguanas! In proper Caribbean Christmas party style we will have wonderful christmas decorations, Turkey and Ham with all the trimmings Christmas Dinner, Games, Music, Arts and Crafts station and of course Santa Clause, Elves, and Presents. 

UPDATE TWO - We have now gone above and beyond all our dreams, thank you thank you thank you!! We are looking to host a second christmas party for those very badly affected and still affected in North Andros (A Bahamian outer island). Rebuilding in these outer islands will take a long time but we hope to share the love by flying in small planes with dinner and presents for all the children and their loving families! Please don't stop supporting our efforts.

Just $20 will help sponsor a child and give them a magical christmas party, food, music, transport, and a very special visit to Santa's Grotto to meet Santa and the Elves where they will receive their own Christmas Stocking filled with goodies AND one unique present from Santa's Christmas Sack.

One of the most beautiful things in life is enjoying a child's joy. Knowing that you can help make a christmas magical for a child is a special gift.
