Not all heroes wear capes. Some sell ice cream and save the lives of little girls.
On Saturday, October 7, 2017, Max Kebschell was responsible for saving the lives of Everley and Sarah, and was nearly killed himself when a very old, large tree fell on his ice cream truck. He heard the tree start to crack, his quick thinking and telling the girls to run, saved them from very serious harm. Within just a few seconds, the mammoth tree fell right next to the girls, smashed his truck, taking down a power line and blowing a transformer above them. This was such a traumatic experience for everyone, and somehow they all were spared. We'd like to help with his expenses, as well as reward him for his efforts.
I wish there were bigger words than thank you. My little girl is still here with me, and I am forever grateful to him and to the guardian angels surrounding all three of them that day.
