Dearest Family and Friends,
The time has come to fullfill my dreams and L.I.V.E (Learn Inspire Vivify Educate) as I have accepted an internship opporotunity as Conservation Coordinator for White Shark Africa based out of Mossel Bay, South Africa .
As you all know, this has been my dream as a young girl to work with sharks and help in conservation efforts. My love for the oceans has brought me back time and time again to follow this dream and take bounding leaps of faith to get there. Everything I have ever done in life has brought me to this point right here. I can not thank my friends and family enough for all the love and support in my journey thus far. I am starting this fund in order to bring my greatest potential as an educator and conservationist to life. My goal is to dedicate my future to education and conservation of our oceans with an emphasis on sharks. Without them, the ecosystems in our Oceans will not survive.
The purpose of this internship is to equip me with the knowledge needed to open up my own conservation and education chapter.
As Conservation Coordinator, my duties will include recruiting interns, researching and tagging sharks, social media postings, coordinating outreach's and giving presentations to people of all ages. I will be documenting my journey and expereiences along the way to spread awareness, inspire and educate others.
As Sylvia Earle so wonderfully state's, "Sharks are beautiful animals, and if you're lucky enough to see lots of them, that means that you're in a healthy ocean. You should be afraid if you are in the ocean and don't see sharks."
I am so blessed and excited to invite you to share this journey with me and hope that it ignites and inspires you within your own life as well.
