Valerie Goodloe, is the Founder of “Women in Need of Discovering Own Worth” (W.I.N.D.O.W.) and the Director & Executive Producer of Gang Girl “A Mother’s Journey To Save Her Daughter” a powerful testimonial of a mother trying to save her daughter, and a daughter searching to find her place in the world.
Our Mission is to promote an environment for women and girls, to recognize their worth and realize all of their possibilities. W.I.N.D.O.W. will provide through education, role models and mentors, a path to change and a roadmap to being made whole. W.I.N.D.O.W. will utilize various media sources, including documentaries, film, radio, television and print. W.I.N.D.O.W. will collaborate with direct service providers that share a common purpose.
Our goal is twofold; to create an educational and social platform to provide insight into the lives of young women today, and to educate these young women that how they live their lives not only impacts themselves and their families, but also future generations. We have developed a thorough curriculum program that will equip our women and girls with the knowledge, techniques and tools that will aid them in making positive life choices and sustaining positive life habits.
We are raising funds to to support "programming" for the following:
o Implement The W.I.N. Life Plan to specifically address enhancing Mother-Daughter Relationships as a path to improving life for at risk girls.
o Host retreats, workshops, seminars, self help groups and other activities that bring Mothers and Daughters together to discover themselves and develop solutions to their social, economic, and environmental challenges.
Girls can easily succumb to negative peer pressure and fall in with the wrong crowd, leading to danger and harm.
This donation will go towards programming for at-risk mothers and daughters to assist them in reestablishing family connections, values and family goals. Help us save our girls, by putting them on a path to success and family unification to build and sustain STRONG FAMILIES. Please watch the trailer to see how powerful this could be for our families.
