Team Four's 24 Hour Lock-In

We are Team Four, a group of 14 teenagers currently taking part in the NCS (National Citizen Service). As part of our social action project we have chosen to support Young Minds, a UK charity based on lending assistance to teenagers with mental health issues.
We have chosen this charity because we believe that it is a worthy cause, and the subject hits close to home for multiple people in our group.
The project we have decided to carry out is a 24 hour lock in. This involves the whole group enduring 24 hours without sleep in one building. We decided to do this activity to represent the isolation that teenagers with mental health issues have to go through.
At the beginning of the lock-in we will give in our phones, and receive them back the next day. Our only contact with the outside world will be through brief livestreams, which we will do hourly on facebook throughout the night to show what we're doing and how we're feeling.
Our aim is to raise funds for Young Minds through sponsorship. This money will be used to pay for mental health professionals to talk to distressed teenagers, advice for worried parents and aids the campaign to reduce the stigma around mental health.
As well as this, we aim to improve awareness of the charity, and mental health in general, through social media and leaflet-dropping.
The lock-in will be taking place on the 23rd-24th August, from 12pm-12pm. Although we have not yet confirmed a location, we are currently inquiring at several different gyms.
Any donation, big or small, will be appreciated- because it truly will make a difference.
