Teagan's legal fees (Motorcycle Kitty Antifascist)

This is Teagan. She is one of the brave few that went to the Proud Boys Rally in Portland on August 17th to stand up to the hatred and vitriol spewing from the white supremacists. Not only was she there to protest their presence but she used her motorcycle engine to drown out the hate speech. The police ( for some reason **giant eye roll**) decided to yank her off the motorcycle while it was running to place her under arrest. She was charged with disorderly conduct and interference with a police officer. Full disclosure: She has not asked us to do this, but we have been in touch and she still does not have a lawyer. We want to help her pay for a lawyer or help her get a good lawyer to donate their services. Her fines will be at least $400 but could be more. She has also enlisted her fellow motorcycle lady badasses to come with her if they try to come back. We feel that ignoring the problem won't make it go away. We don't condone violence of any kind and that is why we believe this type of resistance is brave and effective. The rally did not give the white supremacists their intended result-- instead the nation got to see what Portland is made of.
