Teachers Tackle Tough Mudder!

We are a team of unfit, anti-exercise teachers from Sidlesham Primary School and are soon to throw ourselves under and over ridiculous obstacles in the middle of a muddy field! So why, you may ask? Because a family from our school has sadly been affected by cancer. They have three beautiful girls: the eldest is in our reception class; the youngest is only a few months old; and the middle girl, Daisy (who is very excited to be starting school in September) has been diagnosed with T -cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. The treatment programme for this terrible disease is very long and needs to be administered all the way over in Southampton. The mum is on maternity leave with their little baby and the dad is a self-employed builder who is not able to earn any money to support his family when he’s in Southampton with Daisy. Therefore, as a school, we are raising as much money as we can to help them out at this difficult time.

The children at Sidlesham Primary School held a sponsored silence. They managed to remain silent for a whole day and raised an amazing £3,000. Now it’s the teachers’ turn!
