The Dungo Project

This will be a fundraiser for Nic Schilter, or better known as Dungo. Dungo is from the coastal village of Valery, near Coffs Harbour and stayed at Duval college for his entire Science Degree at UNE in Armidale. After completing his degree Nic took this year to go on a European adventure with his partner in crime Jon Schlenert, better known as Donny. Unfortunately all did not go to plan, and whilst in Prague, Nic fell from a tree, and landed himself in a coma in the Czech Republic. Whilst his friends panicked, his family flew to Prague and stayed with him after the surgeries he had to fix his broken bones. To our relief Nic is now awake and on the road to recovery, though he is confined to a wheelchair for now. Without insurance covering him, Nic and his family are many thousands of dollars from paying off his medical bill. Nic is the drummer for a band formed within the Duval College walls, named Lettuce Loose. The band is performing at the Final Fling at the Stro, this Thursday, the 24th of September. The band was going to charge $5 entry to help out Nic and take some pressure off his family, but that's a bit steep for some UNE students, so instead they decided to make entry a donation of any size, whether it be $1 or $10, they don't mind. They get it, they are UNE students too. However, because of the interest in supporting Nic's road to recovery, some individuals did not wish to attend the Stro but wish to support this cause by donating, and this is why this page was made. Your support and generosity is pulling on the heart strings of the family and close friends of Dungo, particularly Dungo himself. Anything that you can donate will not go unrecognised and your thoughts and well wishes are greatly appreciated.
