Help After Harvey

We've known this family for many years. They've always welcomed a helping hand to anyone. Today I decided to try to do the same for them. David and his family live in Rockport, Tx in a family home that was passed down from his grandfather. When Harvey made his way into Texas...we prayed and prayed that their home would be unscathed. Returning home they found a standing home but the house and property sustained significant damage.  Window broken, house shifting, doors not closing, water damage, siding missing, roof leaks, mold inside due to leaks, trees gone,  inside walls bubbling, and I'm sure the list will grow as power & water are available without regulations.  

Sadly, due to the age of the home it was uninsurable due to not meeting requirements required by insurance.  FEMA has helped by putting this family in a hotel 30 miles away for a month. (they are currently a week -2 weeks from being without a place to stay) As of today they just got electricity hooked up but the house still isn't liveable. The repairs to make the home liveable & insurable cost alot.

As a prideful family who hasnt asked for any help from anyone but has lent countless hands for friends and family whom have been directly impacted by Harvey. They need help and fast.
