Please Help Our Family

Thank u so much to everyone for all the prayers... and also thank you for taking the time to read my story... for donating and sharing... Emmalyns story started 3 months ago when she started coughing and wheezing very badly... the Dr. then diagnosed her with colic and viruses... weeks go by and she is no better... so they diagnosed her then with GERD... we have tried 2 different meds for that... nothing is better still... so we change her formula multiple times... tried breathing treatments... that didn’t help... after several hospital visits... goin to her Pediatrician at least once a week... and multiple x-rays they can’t find nothing so I asked for a second opinion... That brings me to a pulmonologist at nationwide children’s Westerville where they changed her Acid reflex medicine again... we tried gas drops... we tried gripe water... nothing was helping... so now it’s time for a swallow study... Which brings us to yesterday... Baby Emmi aspirated with every bottle... every thickener... everything... they couldn’t believe she has gone this long and does not have pneumonia or even stopped breathing... it was so bad that they wouldn’t even let her take another gulp... They immediately make us go to nationwide Childrens hospital in Columbus where here they looked over her swallow study and decided to put in a feeding tube and admit her... She has an awesome team... 4 pulmonologists... 3 ENTs... a Gastrologist... A speech therapist and occupational therapist... and a diatian...  Now the testing begins... She is now aspirating her salvia and is NPO... she has a NJ tube which feeds her past her stomach so she always feels hungry... she cries all the time... tomorrow is a scope down her throat and Friday is a scope to her stomach which she will have to be put to sleep for... we have no answers... they think she will probably get surgery for a peg tube... it’s just a waiting game... we will be here at least 2 weeks which means no pay for me and Jon... we hate asking for help but we really need it... anything helps... again thank u sooo much...
