Shelters for Seattle's Homeless

Hey Friends!

This fall and winter I am hoping to raise at least $2500 to buy tarps and paracord that will go to protecting our homeless population here in Seattle. Many of these folks have tents, which do not remain dry in periods of extended precipitation, and many have nothing more than a blanket. 

My hope is to buy 10,000 feet of paracord and 160 6x8 foot tarps to provide some much needed shelter for those who do not have any. I would like to do this by the end of December! In Seattle we have an average rainfall of 31.4 inches. And most of it is condensed into a 4-5 month period, which we are about to enter. Thats a lotta rain!
