109 World & Healing Hands Campaign

In August of this 2016, my best friend and I embarked on a journey of a lifetime, a mission trip to Ecuador that would forever change the way we see the world and open our hearts beyond belief. The trip was organized by 109 World, an inspiring group of young women who are truly making big changes in the world. Upon arrival we were taken to a small resort area just outside of Manta. As you may or may not have heard, Manta was hit with a 7.8 earthquake in April of 2016. The results were devastating. People were left without homes, food, jobs, and family. They were left with nothing. Children lost their parents and were left to fend for themselves in total destruction. The goal of our mission trip was to provide sanitation, running water, food supply (a garden) and much needed education to these children. We can honestly say that this was one of the best weeks of our lives! 

I was so inspired after this week, I decided that we wanted to do more. I submitted an application to the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation to request funding for an up and coming mission trip to Greece, where we will be helping refugees. I have been raising funds for just over 3 weeks now. We are down to the wire with only 2 days left. 

I believe that serving others is our purpose here on earth. My capacity to serve may be totally different to yours. I think we can all agree that serving/giving to others fills our hearts in ways that we don't always understand. I went to Ecuador to serve others but in return I was offered unmeasurable amounts of LOVE, appreciation, generosity, adventure, connection, so much fun, so much beauty, and service! When we give, we aren't just giving, we are opening up doors for the universe, god, source, the divine (whatever you believe in) to give back, sometimes in ways we could never have imagined. I am asking for your help now...
