Help us Save Lives Donate to NarCan

My name is beth , I have become the leader of an amazing group of woman and men who with the support of Quabog Hills Community Coalition- Substance Use Task Force have allowed us , with boots on the ground to make this walk and effort possible.
Some of us have lost children to this disease; had they had NarCan, they most likely would not have. Others, like myself, have been able to save my child on more than one occassion because I did have NarCan and the training. We feel it is imperative that everyone who comes in contact with anyone fighting this disease is equipped to help until professionals arrive.
Kits can cost upwards of $100.00 or more. We believe that because we serve as many as 15 communities, it will take an enourmous effort for us to make a dent in the demand; but Recovery is worth it.
Picture this for one moment...Just one. This is your child, you are waiting for an ambulance, you did not find them in time. The EMT's arrive, but it is too late. You know deep inside you, had you had NarCan your chances would have been so much better in keeping him/her alive.
We are asking you give yourselves and others a chance to save a life .
As litte or as much as you can donate is appreciated.
Recovery happens every day...This is NOT a WASTE of money or time.
Please share this link from sea to shining sea. Many people want to help; They can now. Give them a chance, and give those seeking recovery a chance.
Thank you on behalf of the QHCC and all of the! members of our committee that are working every day, and have been for weeks to get this off the ground.
Spread the word and join us, Sept. 26, as we celebrate recovery, support those struggling, and remember the way too many we have lost
