Little guy trying to help
Donation protected
Victor was only 3 years old when he saw a picture of someone who was going through cancer treatments and he had many questions about why the person had no hair. After hearing about how people loose their hair he asked "what do they do with no hair?" So we told him that some people grow their own hair really long and donate it to make wigs. That was the day he decided he would "grow hair for someone who has a cold head". I (his father) told him that was a very nice thing to do and would join him so he did not have to do it alone. He has wanted to get it cut many times, often after being mistaken for a girl, yet remained firm in his resolve to grow enough for a donation. To understand how big this is for this little guy you also need to know that Victor has Cystic Fibrosis, the most fatal genetic disorder for children, and his life is impacted heavily. This brave little guy takes around 30 pills a day just to survive, and is still more worried about others. http://www.cysticfibrosis.ca/about-cf for more info. All money raised through this page will go towards finding a cure for CF. Our hair is now long enough to cut and donate but lets make it go further.
The local barber shop The Hone and Strop has jumped on board for the cuts Thanks to all who help. Together we can live in a world with out Cystic Fibrosis
