Maddy's Soccer Trip to Sweden!
As many of you know I have been playing soccer my entire life and it has always been a great passion of mine. I have scarificed so much of my free time and missed many social events just to make it to practices and games. I recentenly joined a new soccer club called Lamorinda, and on this new team I have been invited to play at the Gothia World Youth Cup in Sweden. The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth soccer tournament. Each year, around 1600 teams from 80 nations take part and they play 4500 games on 110 fields and I am one of the lucky players who gets to participate. The entire trip to sweden would be 13 days in the summer from July 12 -24. Not only would I get to play in the world renowned Gothia Cup, but also get to sight see and experience the Swedish culture.This is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and I am trying to raise enough money to cover my trip. This trip means so much to me because it will expose me to so many different soccer teams and styles of play from around the world. It will help me become a better player and help me get a college scholarship in the future. I would be extremely grateful if I could reach my goal and any and every donation will be appreciated.
