My name is Gene Click. I own Fit Factory Martial Arts and Fitness based out of Sevierville,TN. I am blessed to say that I am almost 3 years sober from the grips of Alcohol!
I have been struggling to find a way to help others on the same destructive path. My gym is such an amazing support system for mental and physical health. I have often said that if I could get someone who WANTED to get sober at the gym.. they would have the atmosphere to be successful. At the end of the day, we just want to be distracted, loved and supported.
All addictions can be misery to say the least but start with forming a habit. The addiction most often destroys families, jobs and relationships before hitting rock bottom. The person is left with little but bad memories let alone extra income. Not all addicts are bad people!! Most have just falling into a trap and didn't have the support system to find the strength to get sober.
I want to fix that.. at least for my community! I want to help folks in my community find life again. Your donations will go towards their training dues, equipment and education. We teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and fitness so we will take anyone who will stay sober FREE OF CHARGE!
That is all they have to do to get a scholarship at Fit Factory! Please help me in this journey! I want to change the futures of people who desperately need a friendly hand. I would love to help these individuals become coaches, counselors and support systems for others in time!
Let's do this! There are so many children that would love to have their sober parent back... or for the first time!
