Honduras Mission Trip

This summer, I have an exciting opportunity to serve the Lord on a mission trip to Honduras in Central America with Lakewood Church and Living Water International (LWI), a Christian organization.
Our ministry during this trip will involve building a water well providing the gift of clean water and delivering the teachings of Jesus Christ to provide living water to a community in La Ceiba, Honduras. In La Ceiba the team will divide into two groups, Hygiene & Drilling. The Drilling team with the guidance of LWI’s in-country drillers will drill the hole for the well and install the well. In the same community alongside the Drilling team, the Hygiene team will teach proper sanitation techniques and Bible stories to the women and children of the community. We believe this experience will not only generate meaningful relationships but will also allow everyone involved to witness the faithfulness of God, returning home transformed.
One of the ways you can help me is to pray for the trip, the ministry we will perform and for me personally. The total cost of this trip is $1975 which includes all expenses: airfare, accommodations, food, etc. Our trip needs to be fully funded by June 15, 2017. I cannot accomplish this task alone, so I am asking you to be part of this mission trip with me. If you are in the Houston Area you can donate personally at the Lakewood Church book store by check or cash. Just make sure to add Honduras Trip/Sussette Torres on the memo line or tell the cashier you want to make a payment on my behalf.
During the next several weeks, I will be working very hard to raise the finances to go and requesting your prayerful consideration with supporting me financially.
