Surrey School Trustee Campaign

Vote for Change October 20th

We are raising funds to help fund the upcoming civic election campaign for Julia Poole who is running for Surrey School Trustee. She will be running as an Independent and will need to raise her own financial support. 

Julia brings to the board her unique perspective and experience as a classroom teacher and professor, not only serving here in Surrey but internationally in Finland, China, and Japan. She has been involved in athletics for the first years of teaching setting up district programs and coordinating shared equipment for larger apparatus smaller schools could not afford to purchase. Later she served as a helping teacher here in Surrey implementing technology into the classroom and working with teachers in their classrooms on special projects using technology in untraditional areas such as music classes, technology education, home economics, math, and science. Her experience spans from Kindergarten to University, including private and public schools.

How can you help? 

We will need to provide signs and brochures for her media campaign. Also, any costs related to getting name recognition throughout Surrey.

This is how you can help:
$20 will fund 100 brochures (our goal is 40,000)
$30 will fund 4 lawn sign (our goal is 250)
$100 will fund 3 street sign (our goal is 200)
Note: the new pricing of these signs has greatly reduced our estimated costs!

Other suggestions would be funding 
Newspaper ads and posters for store windows. 
*Please note the new regulations limit are $1200 per donor and no corporation or union donations are allowed.
