Surfing the Nations Summer Internship

Hello friends and family!
I have been accepted to the Surfing the Nation's 3-month summer internship program in Oahu. Surfing the Nations is "a non-profit, humanitarian organization, run entirely by volunteers" that is located in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
During my time this summer, I will be working on character development, community outreach, feeding the hungry, working with youth that are at-risk, and giving back to the surfing community! In addition to these things I will get to learn how to surf (wish me luck that I catch a wave!), experience Hawaiian culture, experience faith and travel internationally for an international outreach trip.
This money will help fund my airfare, program fees, and other expenses during my journey! I am so blessed to have this opportunity to give back, experience something completely new to me, and get out of my bubble in the Midwest. So thankful for the support my friends, family, and God have given to me!
