Surf Life Saving Fundraiser
Tax deductible
On October 29, 2016, I injured myself by foolishly diving into shallow water off the Glenelg Jetty. The actions that day by the lifesavers, Natasha & Noelene not only ensured I lived but also subsequently that I could walk after recovering from a C1 spinal fracture which is usually a fatal or paralysing injury. I owe them a lot and this is a small gesture to show my ongoing appreciation to them and the surf life-saving club.
Most importantly this fundraising is backed by the SA Power Networks Employee Foundation which means that every $ is matched (up to $5k). My ability to have funds raised dollar match expires on 31/3/19 (UPDATE: I now have approval until we raise 5k!)
More information about Glenelg Surf Life Saving Club Inc: The income generated provides support by ensuring our members have the up to date training and equipment, including development. It also ensures we have up to date life-saving equipment.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you can spare any contribution, no matter how big or small, it will be greatly appreciated.
