Jackie Dolan is fondly known to everyone but means many things to all of you.

Jackie is a Partner, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, Supporter, Ambulance Driver, Carer, Confident and Photographer Extraordinaire.

She is always there to help with just a moments notice and will take on the challenge or task with a willing attitude
as if it's No Bother.

For the past 18 years, Jackie has snapped away as she captured your specials occasions and lifelong memories at Family Birthdays and Gatherings, Dedications, Sporting Events, Charity Fund Raisers, Golf Course, GAA Games and Dedications.
Jackie has attended every Holy Communion and Confirmation within a 25 miles radius of home to take the cherished picture that would be placed on the mantle for many years to come.

In May 2018, Jackie  suffered a minimal brain bleed and as a result lost her balance and fell down stairs.
She landed on her forehead and was knocked unconscious.

She was immediately transported by ambulance to Galway University Hospital where the doctors worked frantically to asses her injuries and then begin the lengthly process to repair Jackie's broken body.

Xrays and scans confirmed many broken ones and several fractured vertebrae.
Miraculously, she did not sever her spinal cord but did damage it in the initial fall.

Jackie suffered numerous complications while the doctors and excellent nursing staff
in ICU tried to stabilize her over the following weeks.

After many months of waiting and praying Jackie was finally well enough to be transferred to the National Rehabilitation Hospital, where she would now begin the most difficult Journey of her life - The long road to recovery........

Jackie has completed 3.5 months of intensive rehab in Dun Laoirghe and has been transferred back to Galway where she will have one final procedure before returning home to Ballinasloe.

We pray that her recovery will continue and with much needed additional theraphy and support from all her family
and friends will be able to regain more mobility.

Jackie's family have set up this page to help alleviate the financial burden on Jackie for all the additional
care and the physio that is necessary for her recovery.
