The Kent County ReSisters (formally Kent County Huddle) are raising money to cover advertising expenses. Our goal is to educate people about Sinclair Broadcasting and its effect on our local news station, WJAR 10.
Sinclair, through WJAR 10, is spreading propaganda; forcing anchors to read scripts verbatim, in lieu of reporting the news. Biased commentaries have been presented as factual news stories. Sadly, the local television station which we formally trusted for honest journalism is unrecognizable!
With the momentum building against Sinclair we need to act fast. Your support will allow us to buy ad space and help bring integrity back to journalism.
