Come Together for a Public Servant

My name is Debbie Cornelius and Mark Marentette is my brother. His fight to keep his position as Fire Chief in Canandaigua, NY has been well told in the media and social media. He has an outpouring of support from his firefighters and his community. That does not surprise me because my brother's passions are his firefighters' safety, protection of the community he loves and his children who are still in school. He is humbled by the hugs, the handshakes and the kind words every time he is out in public. The positive posts on social media have lifted his spirits.  A business owner on social media suggested a gofundme account to help Mark pay his legal costs. What a great idea. He needs the help with his legal expenses and his other bills until he is rightfully restored to his job. Donations can be public or private. Mark is not giving up this fight. Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
