~Student's Car Torched~

Hello, this past weekend my friend and her boyfriend, drove to Myra Canyon Trestles to go for a walk. When they went to leave, they took a wrong turn resulting in the car getting stuck. After multiple attempts with different vehicles trying to pull her car out, the only option was to leave the car overnight and return in the morning with a truck and chains to pull it out.

When they arrived the next morning to get the car out, they were shocked to see that someone had torched the car leaving it unsalvageable.

Sadly, insurance will not cover this. Getting another car right now is not an option, as she still has to make her $200 car payment each month for a car she no longer has. Being a full-time student she cannot pick up additional hours to cover another car payment.

The remaining balance on the car is $6000, by raising this it will help get a working student back on her feet.
