Stroud Goddess Temple Initiative

Donation protected
You are invited to co-create and help fund this vision of a permanent Goddess Temple Sanctuary space belonging to the community, organised and facilitated by the goddess loving people within Stroud and surrounding areas.

This is a public initiative to raise awareness and generate funds to create a community  venue for a Goddess Temple in Stroud, devoted to honouring the feminine divine in all her forms, in all traditions and open to everyone regardless of spiritual path, culture, gender or orientation.

We have a vision that there can be a permanent, public place where all with a love for Goddess are welcomed and able to shine their gifts, as artists, healers, teachers or priestess within a sacred space that is available for drop ins, prayer and contemplation, honouring the seasons, as well as offering a venue for events and participation, engagement with the community and a space for local craftspeople to display and sell goddess focused wares. We would also love to be able to offer refreshments, and opportunities for therapists and healers to work in the temple if so called. We believe that making space for the feminine and earth-centred spirituality is an important element of bringing balance to our selves, communities and the earth as we move into challenging times environmentally, socially and politically.

The fundraising will be for:

OH MY GODDESS! After 3 years of planning and dreaming we are super excited to announce that the Stroud Goddess Temple has a home! Thanks to everyone who has supported this journey, we are now in a position to take on a space for the Temple. We have acquired a space close to the Farmer’s Market in the centre of Stroud, a lovely quiet sanctuary.

We are inviting you to get involved as a Temple volunteer, holding the space open to the public so that we can offer regular times for visitors. The Temple will be a place for connection and contemplation, with a sacred Altar. There is also a library of Goddess and Pagan resources. There will also be a Goddess outlet for local makers to market their creations and offerings, and the space will be available to hire for practitioners to offer one to one and group sessions.

Our next goal is to raise £300 in our fundraiser, so we can refurbish the space and make it beautiful, ready to open with a public celebration by 30th October (just in time for Samhain). If you are interested in joining us as a Temple-holding volunteer please DM, or email [email redacted]
