Stray dog shelter in Colombia

My name is Angie. 
I am a Colombian born, Canadian resident who is passionate about animal welfare. 
I have come to visit Colombia after 10 years of abscense and I have cried far too often watching sick and malnourished dogs on the street.

I've felt useless everyday for not being able to provide more than a bite to eat to these poor creatures. Thankfully I found a local foundation focused on giving shelter to dogs at risk of dying due to illness or malnourishment. Fundación Lalo also performs surgical sterilization of dogs and cats whenever they raise enough funds through their bake sales :)

Erika Bolaños, the awesome lady who was rescued more than 45 dogs and 18 cats in the past two years, needs our help. She has been living with these animals in a rundown house for a year now but due to the noise the dogs make she's been asked by her landlord to find a new home. 

Erika found a country home with a great landlord who's looking forward to having lots of security guards for his crops. With your help we will move all the dogs to their new home, build them safe and lasting dwellings, buy them lots of food and medicine-which they are currently lacking-and set up a proper kitchen for Erika so she can grow her baking business.
