Stolen Signal Flow Equipment Fund

Every year, the Mills College graduate program has a four-day festival of graduate thesis work called Signal Flow. This festival is supposed to be a celebration and showcase of each graduating student's work for the larger Mills and Bay Area communities.
Just before my piece was about to go onstage on the evening of Saturday, March 11th, two video cameras, tripods, lighting kits, and a plethora of cables were stolen, leaving me unable to perform my piece that evening. This was a result of a miscommunication between the folks I had working on my piece, the stage crew hired for that evening, and myself.
Needless to say, this left me feeling completely crushed, but my wonderful community here at Mills immediately got together and crowdsourced extra equipment for me to use on Sunday, March 12th so that I could still perform my piece, but alas, I'm still personally responsible for footing the bill on the stolen equipment (which I'd borrowed from the Mills College Audio/Visual Department).
Being a student, an artist, and a teacher, the amount of money necessary to pay for all of this stolen equipment is way above anything that I could ever hope to afford. I'm grateful to my immediate community for supporting me in this unexpected endeavor, but need to reach out beyond that in order to cover the costs of replacing this equipment so that many other students at Mills can continue to borrow and use it for their own creative endeavors.
Here are the preliminary estimates on the stolen equipment (some of it's not made anymore, so newer models will have to be chosen) :
2 Panasonic HC-0X900M HD Camcorders - $1,800
2 Manfrotto Medium Format Tripods - $400
2 Lights - $40
3 25ft HDMI Extension Cables - $60
Shipping, Handling, & Card Interest - $300
I've taken out a new credit card solely to cover the immediate costs of replacing the gear, as I know it's important for students to have immediate access to it, but need help in paying it off as soon as possible.
