Help Steve

I live in Stockton and a couple of my friends and myself like to give back to those less fortunate around this time of the year. We saw this story on Facebook last night and immediately said we wanted to find this guy and help him out this year. Steve Smith stopped an armed robbery at a Stockton gas station on the evening of November 30th. Steve had been keeping the clerk company after she was robbed a few weeks prior. When it happened again, he grabbed a fire extinguisher and started spraying the armed robber in the face with it. They took off and when Steve was asked why he did it he simply said, "Cause you have kids."

The news story mentioned that he has experience as an electrician so we are trying to raise money to get him some new clothes and shoes as well as a few other things he might need to get him ready for an interview.

We we have been in touch with Steve and he's appreciative of everyone's efforts. We plan to get him whatever he needs and give it to him directly. Anything we can do to help him get back on his feet is appreciated!
