Stevens Point Fireworks

$2,540 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 63 people in 25 months
The City budgets about $10,000 for the fireworks display each year. We've been fortunate to get the same display for that same price for the last 5 years. Due to rising costs, the same display will be $1000 more this year. I know many of us want to see the best display we can get. Now we're looking to you to make it happen. Any donation helps and together we can make 2017 the best display yet!!!

WOW! We had increased our goal after the great response and as of today, we're only $75 away from THAT goal! Thank you everyone for pitching in. Now this is really a community event!! Keep spreading the word and we'll start on next year's fireworks.

A special thank you to everyone who contributed last night at the Levitt AMP concert last night. CREATE Portage County passed a hat and took in over $160 for the fireworks! Still about $400 short (including commitments we have already).

Way to go Stevens Point!!!
With commitments, we're less than $1000 away from our goal. Keep spreading the word! Remember, you can make a donation directly to City Hall, too. Just swing by the office.

Bill, Last year, Plover spent about $22,000 on fireworks. ALL of the money for that came through private donations and fundraising. By contrast, the City budgeted $10,000 and that came from the general city fund. We've trying to take from Plover's lead and get donations. Interested in contributing?

If some businesses would allow donation cans in their stores throughout the year, a lot could be raised that way as well.

Some people are just never happy! If this site is going to be up for awhile, I will donate at a later date. If people think Stevens Point fire works are not good, maybe they would like none at all.
