Stauffer Family Embryo Adoption

Donation protected
Over the past few years, my wife and I have been through an extensive infertility evaluation by our physicians. It has been determined that we would have been eligible for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), but that is where we decided to "draw the line" and not go any further with our infertility treatments. We believe that life is a precious gift created only by God, and that life starts at the moment of conception. We did not want to run into a scenario where there would be any "left-over" embryos by doing our own IVF. This summer, 2018, we thought we were going to try to start adopting children, so we started to research several adoption agencies. We went to some meetings with one of them, called Bethany Christian Services (BCS). Despite being through all of this infertility workup over the past few years, it wasn't until we met with BCS that we first heard about the concept of "embryo adoption." Our first reaction was, "What is that!? Could that be for us!? How did we never hear of that before?" We began researching and comparing a list of several embryo adoption agencies, learned quite a bit along the way, and finally settled on one that most closely aligns with our own personal beliefs and faith. Apparently there are hundreds of thousands of frozen embryos sitting in infertility clinics across the U.S., and a certain percentage of them would be eligible for adoption. This concept of embryo adoption is still a fairly new one, within the past couple of decades. We believe those embryos are already a created life, and should be given a chance. We believe that we may have been created just for such a time as this. We believe that embryo adoption aligns with our views on the sanctity of human life, our desire to be parents, and our morals, ethics, and faith. This organization we have found is called Embryo Adoption Services of Cedar Park. We have been in communication with them, and would be eager to proceed with embryo adoption as soon as possible. We are estimating that we will need approximately $15,000 to do this. If you want to support a pro-life cause like this, please help us out. Any donations we receive will be used to pay the fees with Cedar Park, and any medical expenses associated with the whole process, including Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET). The fee for FET would be a recurring fee for every time we try to become pregnant via embryo adoption. Supporting us would not only be supporting a pro-life cause, but it would also hopefully give us the chance to have children in our home and still go through the whole pregnancy and childbirth experience. Words can not express how grateful we would be to have our own family, born of our own womb, even if the child(ren) do not have our genetics. We would love them all the same!
