Station Expansion - Joppa Fire Dept

The Joppa Volunteer Fire Department is a small town department located in the southern most part of Illinois, located on the banks of the Ohio river. We provide fire protection and first responder level emergency medical care to the residents of Joppa and western Massac County. The Joppa Volunteer Fire Dept. is completely volunteer, no one on the department recieves any compensation for the work we do. We are given a small but modest budget from the governing board of our village. In the last few years the board has been very good to the department and we thank them for thier service. 
In the last five years or so we have began to outgrow our current station and need to add on to our current building. Joppa Fire Deptartments call volume has increased greatly since we began first responder based EMS. The department now runs well over 200 plus calls a year with 80 % of those being EMS calls. We have run out of room to house all of our equipment. We have 3 engines, 1 ambulance converted for first responder use, 1 humvee, and 1 military truck. We hope to someday convert these last two vehicles into brush fire vehicles in the future.  Our current station has two appartus bays. We keep the third engine in a garage attached to village hall. Our ambulance, humvee and military truck have to set outside in the elements. We are asking for donations to put an addition on our current station to house the four vehicles we are not curently able to house in our station. The proposed addition would be approximately a 30ft by 50ft garage style building with two apparatus bays in which we would double stack the four vehicles.
