Larry's Medical/Brain Tumor Surgery

In October of 2015 it was discovered that Larry had a  brain tumor on his pituitary gland. It has grown to 1 inch in diameter and is now considered a massive tumor because of it's location and must be removed as soon as possible. This is a delicate surgery because the tumor is resting on both the optic nerves and the carotid artery, which supplies blood to the brain. Larry also has diabetes so this requires even extra care during his hospital stay. Larry and his wife, Andrea will travel to Portland, OR at the end of January or the beginning of February for the surgery-pending Insurance Approval-....he was referred to a specialist in Portland and we believe he will receive the best care possible there. Full recovery for Larry is estimated from 4 to 6 weeks.

Spokane Power Tool has created this page to help Larry and his wife,  Andrea with medical bills, medical deductibles and all other expenses related to Larry's Surgery. They will spend at least a week in Portland before he can come home to recover for several more weeks in Spokane.

Larry has worked for Spokane Power Tool for over 20 years and is dearly loved by our staff and by our customers ...he is the voice of many of our radio commercials, he is an avid cyclist, a musician, a devoted husband and an all around GREAT guy! Let's ALL pull together so that finances are one LESS thing this couple has to worry about during this stressful time.
