Small Town Playground Remodel

Volant, Pennsylvania, is a small town run primarily by small family businesses. Lauren, Maya, and Delaney are three concerned local teenagers who are interested in helping the town. Their attention has been brought to a small, formerly delightful playground. Lauren can recall playing on the beautiful train in her youth "My imagination used to run wild. One day, the train would be transporting animals to a circus, the next day, I would be exploring the jungle on the jungle gym." However, in the years that have passed, the playground has fallen into disrepair. The wooden train is riddled with oddly placed nails and moss. The Little Tykes jungle gym is faded and shaky, and the swingset was even damaged beyond repair by a fallen tree. Within the next five months or so, the three teens hope to raise enough to remove all of the safety hazards as well as buy a new jungle gym and a fresh coat of paint for the train. Raising the money for the playground will make their hearts swell with gratitude and pride for the little town of Volant, Pennsylvania.
