Sleeping Bag Drive/Fund Drive

Want to join me in making a difference?

For my NJHS end of the year project I have chosen to help Camp Swift.  They are in need of gently used or new sleeping bags, and funds to clean and maintain the sleeping bags they already own. 

I am asking you to check your closets and donate gently used sleeping  bags that you may no longer need.  If you would rather donate $ for cleaning supplies that would also be appreciated.  Collecting sleeping bags and raising money to benefit Swift Youth Foundation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

For over 30 years, the Camp Swift Overnight Camp has been providing economically disadvantaged youth with a residential summer camp experience for free, while simultaneously providing teen counselors with opportunities to volunteer and make a real impact! At the Overnight Camp, we provide campers and counselors with nutritious meals, physical activity, and a safe environment in which to learn and play – all while fostering positive mentoring relationships between youth and teens. Activities are led by high school- and college-aged volunteers acting as role models for making positive choices in health, physical activity and behavior.
