SJSU Students Duplex Fire

Hello everyone!
On our way to breakfast we recieved calls/texts from many neighbors saying our home was on fire. As we rushed home, we were completley taken back by the amount of damage our home experienced.
We are nine Juniors attending San Jose State University. We were excited to begin our third year, had just gotten our textbooks, and were planning to spend the night doing homework. All our belongings were burned down by a fire that began between the wall of one front bedroom and the kitchen.
Located: 191 N 9th St. Unit B (2nd floor unit of house)
There were two fires. The first fire took out one upstairs room completely and damaged the upstairs kitchen. That followimng morning at 3am, there was another fire that destroyed any chance of retreiving left over belongings. Roof was collapsed and burnt and therefore there was nothing left. We are living out of a hotel until the end of the weekend provided by red cross.
Our families live hours away and we are completely alone with no form of support but the clothes on our back and the kindness of strangers.
