Sinner's Bible is a motion picture about a brilliant youth who in order to eliminate the self-injury that only delays his emotional pain must uncover a surprising ally.
Meet Steve, a young man who has been struggling with self-injury his entire life. He has coped with an alcohoilic father, a mother who divorced his father and has been impoversed and working way too much ever since and a chaotic existence. Now a college student Steve must learn to love himself and learn to live in more healthy relationships. Who will be the person to show him. Will it be his dad? his mom? His girlfriend Ivy, with secrets of her own? His stoner friends Juan and Jimmy? Perhaps the Psychatrist or the young woman Nova who he meets in a mental hospital? Steve will be pushed to the very brink of sanity by his addiction...but will grow to be a new person in the end.
The script has received much acclaim and has received professional coverage that has showered it with praise.
The writer/director of Sinner's Bible, Joseph Chastain is director of several short films, documentaries and commericals. He is joined by Gordon Cornell Layne as Executive producer who has produced Oscar winning and nominated films and Emmy award nominated and winning TV series. They are joined with a top notch cast and crew of both youths and veterans.
The money raised for the film will be used for locations, trnsportation, equipment, paying and feeding the crew.
Mr. Chastain is he himself a recovering Self-injurer. He has vowed to help those who suffered from this terrible effliction in any way he can. Together you can help him to show those that self-injure they are not alone in this world and there is hope for them.
