Single mom robbed before Christmas

A good friend of mine became a victim of a robbery on Monday, December 18, 2017.  As she was dropping off her toddler child at preschool, she returned to her car after just being gone for five minutes and found that her car window was smashed. She discovered that her purse was stolen.  In that purse was not only her drivers license and credit cards, but also the cash she had saved for her children’s Christmas presents.  My friend is a hard working single mom and is on a limited budget.  Upon contacting her credit card companies, she discovered that the perpetrator used her card to buy alcohol and a gas lighter at a local liquor store as well as additional purchases at Rite Aid and a Mobil gas station.

My friend is an honest person, who genuinely will help anyone.  She has a kind heart and is devastated that this happened to her.  She lost $500 in cash along with the cost to repair the broken window on her car.

She has had a tough year and then this happens. She has great pride in working and supporting her two kids. Thus, she doesn’t want to ask for help. So, I will ask in her behalf. It would mean a great deal if anyone would be willing to help her.  With only a few days left til Christmas, all she wants is to be able to give her children a few gifts.  It would restore her faith in humanity and restore her children’s faith in Santa.  I know that my friend would “Pay it forward” because that’s the type of person she is.
