Single mom lawyer fees for daughter

So let me tell you about a mother and her daughter. This woman has suffered through multiple bone fractures, hospitalization, living a homebound life, mostly bed-ridden for the past couple of months. Due to the accident she has lost her job, and is living on savings right now. A serious accident should be enough over which to cope; but in the process, now her ex-husband is battling her for custody of her daughter. You may begin to see that my friend is under a huge amount of stress; with limited resources upon which to hire a lawyer. My dear friend has raised her daughter; been there for her; comforted and loved her, while her ex-husband has made little effort to be an active part of her life. The real reason we have put together this fund raiser if for her daughter. Yet, historically, legal battles over children overwhelming are won by the side that has the better lawyer, the more money, the better job; regardless of whether it was truly in the best interest of the child. Crowd funding is the only way that my dear friend can enter this custody process ON EVEN GROUND with her husband. She needs legal support she cannot afford. So please think and pray carefully about this request. If you are moved to help her fight for the custody of her daughter, please give.
