Alzheimer's Awareness
Hello beautiful humans,
My name is Dexter Lockhart Jenks, and I am here to present the first instalment of the newest project by Sin.dex; TradeOrCharity.
[Skip to 3rd paragraph (||...||) for 'Long story short']
So what had happened was, for the holidays I decided to make my Old Man (O.G. Old Man Jenks) a hemp bracelet using this new scoripian-twist-double-exterier-contrasting-color design I've been working with (it's a working title..). While brainstorming for colors, I thought about what my dad is all about and how I could translate that into a color combination for a bracelet. In the end I came up with purple, simply because it is the color used in Alzheimer's awareness campaigns, and because Ol' Bill Jenks plays a big role in supporting and running the Alzheimer's Association in Maine.
So, at first I was all like, "Cooool, I'll make my dad a purple bracelet!"BORING. But THEN I was all like, "What if I make him a BUNCH of purple bracelets and then he can sell them and donate the proceeds to the Alzheimer's Association!" But that seemed like way too much work on his part for a gift that I was trying to give. Also, "a bunch" is wicked ambiguous. DO MORE!! So I did more, and NOW I'm all like,
||I will make 100 purple bracelets and give them all away for a minimum donation of $10 (one bracelet for each donation), with 100% of the proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Association, in the name of my father, William E. Jenks (A.K.A. Old Man Jenks, A.K.A. Old Man, A.K.A. Pops, A.K.A. Yo Daddio!)||
