Sierra's Portugal Tour UNF Singers

Dear Family and Friends,
I have this amazing opportunity to join the UNF Chamber Singers in creating beautiful music and experiences in Portugal. We will be going to three cities in our 9 day stay; Aveiro, Evora, and the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. The trip begins April 30th and we will return May 9th, 2016.
The total cost for this trip is $3350. So far there has been a down payment of $200 and the next payment will be $600 on October 15th. Other funding from a $1500 study abroad (SAILS) scholarship from UNF and a GoFundMe UNF Chamber Singer's page (that I will post when it launches) should help me and other students reduce the cost of the overall trip.
I am in school now to become an ASL (American Sign Language)/English Interpreter and even though we are traveling outside of America, this trip will help me gain knowledge and experience of other cultures and languages. Having a well round knowledge of language is very essential in becoming an interpreter. I am very excited for this trip because this will be the first time I will be out of the United States. I love new sites, sounds, and people and want to be able to travel more in the future, but I have to start somewhere.
