My name is Apple-Elgatha and I'm worried about the balance of the Electors and what I've just read in an article on Salon.com.

words can not describe the anger ad betrayal I feel towards the GOP and Republicans who are threatening and intimidating Electors of the Electoral College to vote for Donald Trump. These politicians are putting party before country and that simply is not right.

This GoFundMe is being set up to provide a safety net for Electors, whether Democrat or Republican who vote against Donald Trump.

In the wake of all the news that is now coming out that the CIA has determined the Russian President Vladimir Putin hacked our Democaratic elections with the clear intention of making Donald Trump President scares me, and it should scare you too. His cabinet picks should petrify you into action. Donald Trump has nominated Climate Deniers, Women's Rights Detractors, Equal Pay Blockers and just about every Millionaire or Billionaire he knows. It's almost as if he's setting up his own personal frat.

and now 40 Electors have signed a letter demanding a briefing about Russian Hacking before they meet next week Monday to Vote:

This GoFundMe will pay the fines / or lawyer fees of the Electors and we are also petitioning lawyers to help Electors who vote against Donald Trump. It is not right and a travesty that they are intimidated into voting for a President Elect who obviously doesnot have the interest of any American at heart, whether they vote for him or not.

The beneficiaries of this GoFundMe will be any Elector that faces retribution for not voting according to Electors designation.

This money will be paid out for Fines and/or Attorney's Fees.

Once an elector has contacted us, the money's for the fines wil be paid directly to the State office and any attorney's fees will be paid directly to the attorney representing the elector.

If NO electors contact us, the monies collected will be donated to the following charities with the names everyone who has donated to:
