For those of you that don't know, my name is Shelby Kirchoff and I am many things.
I will be the first to admit that I am flawed, but I am numerous other things as well. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a fighter and I am a mother. For anyone who truly knows me, and even for those that don't, the one thing I love more than anything is my son. I'm not a perfect person by any means. I have a made a lot of mistakes, but I take pride in being a mother. My son is my moon and stars. I would take a bullet for him if need be. Unfortunately, I am in the midst of a legal battle with my son's father.
I want to be honest with you, friend or stranger, about my situation. Recently, I had a nervous breakdown and spent a week in a psychiatric ward. After being hospitalized, my son was taken from me. I am now trying to do everything in my power to get him back. The obstacle in the way of that is money. I am desperately seeking the help of all those who know (and don't know me) and love me to extend a helping hand to help me get my son back to me.
I am placing my hope in humanity. It's difficult for people to admit they need help from others. In a way, we are saying that we are not strong enough to do things on our own when we make pages like these. It's hard, but we give to hope.
This is where YOU come in. I am currently working as a waitress and every cent I make it going toward this case, but it's not enough. The amount of money required is astronomical.
If anyone can help, be it donating even a dollar or something as simple as just sharing the link, that brings me one step closer to getting my son back.
My heart hurts knowing that I can't hold my son in my arms because I needed to get help for myself. I am broken in so many ways and I need all of the help I can get to save my son. The connection we share isn't able to be put into words. Regardless of my financial situation, I am on the road to mending my wounds and trying to fix my life and make things perfect for my son.
This is my plea: Please, help me save Dalton. Maybe you aren't a mother or a father yourself, but imagine having someone so special ripped from your life and wanting nothing more than to get that person back. I implore you, please, help me. Help me get Dalton back to my family and me.
