Shave Maddie's Head!

For the last year or so, I've been growing my hair in the hopes to have it long enough to shave off. So the time has come and it all must go! As one of the co-directors for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (through Carleton Student Engineering Society), I'm giving myself a goal to raise $200.00 via GoFundMe as well as whatever is donated the day of the shaving.

No matter how much I raise on this page, the hair is going anyways. It will be auctioned off during our joined Breast Cancer Awareness & Movember Auction on November 1st and the highest bidder(s) will get the chance to cut and shave my hair however they so please!

The money raised through the C-Eng Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising will be donated to Breast Cancer Action Ottawa, a small non-profit organization that supports breast cancer patients and survivors in the Ottawa region. For more information on them, please visit: https://bcaott.ca/

I will be closing the donation page on October 31st and I will announce how much money I've raised through this site and how much we, as the Carleton Engineering community, have raised for Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the auction and on Facebook.

I hope to see you all out at the C-Eng events planned through the month, and if you can't make it to those, I hope you think about donating something to the cause.
