Brooklynn's Summer Wish

I am starting this fund off of advice of a friend . "Stop being so prideful "... so I am here because I have not seen my daughter in almost 3 years . I am trying so hard in every way possible to bring her to NJ to visit with me for the summer . And as she asks me almost daily when will she be coming all I can say is I'm trying . But I don't want to keep saying trying I want to do it and finally see happiness on my child's face when it comes to us . I've fought so hard the last 2 years to become the person woman mother I am today and she is finally able to come stay the summer because I have a stable home of my own and the means to have her here. Not thinking thoroughly I spoke to soon I thought with my bills and rent I would still be able to save money for this trip and as I realize it's not as easy as I thought I have to tell her and hear the hurt and disappointment . She does not want me to visit her in Florida she wants to experience being with me on her own as well as being able to see her brother who lives close by and meet her new baby brother who is with . I just want to see my baby's face and hug her so tight . Video chat is no longer filling the void between us . At those point my child needs me and I need her . But there is no more running back to Florida when I miss my child as I have grown and changed I've learnt responsibility and structure so I continue to try to raise the money to go to Florida and get her by train and bring her back to NJ until she has to go back for school . The whole trip to get her and take her back runs about $700 give or take . I have put my work out there and continue to do so every chance I get every time I finish a piece (paintings/drawings) to make extra money outside of what I get to survive and pay bills . Not having to much luck with that and I'm not I refuse to let it discourage me . I'm great at what I do and my daughter is as well she has gotten that artistic talent from me and I can't wait to sit and share it with her . She's a good girl straight A student 99% of the time . She is respectful and grateful for everything in life especially me . And I just want to be there and give that unconditional love back . Brooke and I have a very long up and down history/story and we're finally able the last 2 years to begin our happily ever after . But that one missing piece we both know and feel is the distance the lack of feeling content/complete in each others presence not in a video chat . That feeling I think we both would give anything for . So usually I wouldn't make a page like this cause there are way more needy people for worse off reasons then my own . But I have to try I have to make an effort any way possible for my daughter . For her to reunite after close to 3 years with me her mother her best friend . And I have to do it for myself to because I need her as much as she needs me . So I will continue to put my work out there and I will put my pride away and ask please anyone willing to help me and Brooklynn spend the summer together please do please share . Any and every little bit counts every bit gets 2 hearts back to ONE . I asked Brooke to draw me something that reminded her of US and she sent me this this morning 6/9/17 ... HOME ... I want and need to have her home with me even for a short time (summer) so she can feel the feeling of HOME again !!
