Continuing my education abroad

Hello all. My name is Shani and I wish to further my education abroad in Japan. Everyone has a different reason for crowdfunding and it is usually because of very harsh times. I'm really just trying to keep my head above water. I'm young and just graduated with my Associates and will be moving on to my Bachelor's in the spring. My hope however is to one day live in Japan and work there. It seems weird to a lot of the people around me but it is a passion of mine. Because I am a black person people constantly ask why would I choose Japan of all places? Why not Africa or one of the many Caribbean islands? It's simple, I am not drawn to any of those places. I'm interested in Japanese culture and the language. I just hope that whenever you see this that maybe you'll want to help I am currently looking for a second job and I know this may seem like a bit of a stretch but any help would be greatly appreciated even just sharing is enough.  I am also starting my own blog to document my progress.
