Empowering Vulnerable Children

Stepping out of my comfort zone here to experience what this great charity offers the people of Uganda.
Please help me in raising money to continue their great efforts.
I will be travelling over in October for a week to help in their efforts and also immerse myself with their staff on the ground.

Below is all you need to know on Nurture Africa:

Nurture Africa’s Mission is to “Nurture the physical and emotional
development of children in Uganda who are infected with or affected by HIV,
by providing access to healthcare & education”.
● Nurture Africa supports the economic empowerment of vulnerable families
in Uganda through micro-finance projects enabling them to work themselves
out of poverty.
● The Nurture Africa health centre provides access to primary healthcare for
children (focusing upon Malaria, TB, pneumonia and ‘flu), HIV treatment and
care, Maternity services from 2018 and ante and post-natal care.
● Nurture Africa supports the education 2500 children in all levels of education
within its partnered schools.
● Nurture Africa is supporting the education of 10,000 South Sudanese
refugee children living in displacement camps in Northern Uganda.
● In 2017, 550 families were sucessfully supported by the Nurture Africa
Sustainable Livelihoods project, enabling them to provide a stable income to
provide their families with a home and 3 meals per day.
● Year on year, 100 vulnerable youth receive education through the Nurture
Africa Vocational Training Programme; providing each with skills for
tailoring, hairdressing, cooking and computer skills in order to seek
employment or commence their own business upon completion.
