Hi, this is Lareece!
I’m on a mission to raise money! By raising the most money, I will be crowned National Queen! Funds collected will benefit The National Bowling Association, Inc. (TNBA) organization. This includes my local Inland Empire Senate (I.E.S.) who I am representing as Queen for the 2015-2016 season. My goal is to help college students, leaders, and aspiring bowlers. This upcoming year will mark 77 years of TNBA's existence, and I want to see TNBA operate for another 77 years and beyond!
I know what some of you might be thinking… What makes me so special? As a recent National Representative for the Junior Council (2013/2014 -2014/2015 seasons), my work in the area of organizational leadership continues, and it begins with our young members. TNBA wants more youth becoming a member of the organization, and getting involved in its ongoing growth and success.
When reflecting, as a young adult who is only 19, I consider this… when young people see others close to their age advocating for the TNBA organization, they will feel more inclined to join “and” get involved. Our organization needs more youth of my generation to spread the word about this organization, and see for themselves how they can engage and add to the conversations and history of TNBA.
The money raised for TNBA by my local I.E. Senate, Campaign Team and I will go a long way, as its focus is to support the operation of the organization at the national and local levels. The scholarships, leadership opportunities, and trainings I received have been a blessing to my life, and I want many more young people to experience this. TNBA is family, and welcomes all who come.
This not-for-profit organization is life-changing! Even if you don’t bowl, but respect the sport and want to become a member and get involved – you can! The money from this program can help keep the opportunities available – especially to young people. Just think… with college steadily increasing, any bit of money will help. Whether TNBA provides scholarship opportunities, based on essays written, leadership excellence, continued enrollment in college, or bowling tournaments, the organization wants to see future generations have a good education, as it is a necessity for current and future generations to make it in this world.
There are numerous youth who want to go to college but choose to not attend, because they can’t afford it. It’s heartbreaking and that’s why I want to raise as much money as I can to help this organization decrease this unfortunate problem our nation has.
So, please, help me on my mission to assist this organization in helping our generation of today become future leaders, as well as those who want to further their knowledge and involvement in the game of bowling.
Please, give as much as you can, because it will be put to excellent use! Thank you!
