Sensory Room For Wyatt

Wyatt is a sweet 10 year old boy who is severely impacted by his Autism and Type 1 diabetes. He is non- verbal and struggles to leave the home due to his sensory issues. Wyatt often elopes or becomes highly agitated when we are out. It is our hope to add some special items to wyatts room  or have a special sensory room installed so that he may feel a sense of calmness and enjoyment all while being in the safety of his own room. These rooms can help decrease aggressive behavior, provide mental and physical relaxation, provide security and encourage communication and so much more!
What you’ll see in the uploaded video is not the same Wyatt we see today. What you'd see looks very different. Most people do not want to see that side of autism. I just wanted you all to know that this is a cause for quality of life. This little boy struggles with every little thing that we take for granted! Everything that comes so easily to us! I can’t change the world for Wyatt. But I hope we can make his world less painful.
