Sean M. Benson Memorial Fund

On September 23, 2015 Sean M. Benson passed away suddenly, leaving behind his wife, Corrine and their three children, Sean Jr., Erin and Cory.

For more than 30 years, he proudly served his community as a firefighter and ex-Chief of the Paramus Volunteer Fire Department, Company #2. He dedicated his life to serving his community, helping those in need and protecting his family. Those who know Sean know that he would give the shirt off his back, without question, to anyone in need. Now we ask that his friends, family, and the community come together and help support Sean’s family in their time of need.

The next few months will be emotionally and financially rough for Corrine and kids as they adjust to a new reality without Sean. Practical concerns such as everyday living expenses and paying the bills can quickly become overwhelming as the processing of life insurance and pension claims inevitably get hung up in red tape. Please help us to help them make this transition smoother, less stressful and to keep the Benson family safe and secure, just as Sean would have done for any one of us.
